John,
Last night, I spoke directly to the people of Kentucky in my State of the Commonwealth address.
And I meant every word when I said this: The state of Kentucky remains strong.
Together, we've built one of the strongest economies in our history. We've had massive job growth, including our second-best year ever for job creation. We've shown the country what's possible when people come together across party lines, across geography, and focus on results instead of division.
But I also spoke honestly about what's at stake right now, and where we go from here. For too many families, the American Dream feels like it's slipping away. The simple promise that if you work hard and play by the rules, you can get ahead, afford a home, take a family vacation, and leave your kids better off than you were. That dream should be real in every corner of Kentucky — from our biggest cities to our most rural communities.
That's what I've fought for as governor, but right now, that dream is under threat from a reckless administration that is working against us, not with us. Bad tariff and trade policies are slowing projects and obliterating jobs, and President Trump's "big, ugly bill" threatens rural hospitals, healthcare workers, and healthcare coverage for hundreds of thousands of people.
But while Washington creates chaos, here in Kentucky, we've chosen to invest in jobs, housing, healthcare, and in our people. John, my goal has always been simple: To leave Kentucky better than I found it and ensure the leaders who come next continue that work. I'm fighting back so families don't pay the price for reckless decisions made by politicians who couldn't care less what happens to them, but I can't do it alone.
That's where you come in.
Can I count on you to chip in today to help protect the progress we've made here in Kentucky, and expand our people-first strategy to every corner of the nation? >> [link removed]
Thanks for all that you do,
Andy
