Every year, Hunger Free America honors Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life's work with service and action during HFA’s annual MLK Serve-A-Thon. In addition to meaningful opportunities to serve with partners across the country, we also host panels and workshops during the weekend-long event.
On Monday, January 19, we will be sponsoring a free-to-attend virtual panel highlighting Dr. King’s historic work fighting for policies to reduce poverty and hunger.
This interactive panel will highlight a key pillar of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream: ending hunger and poverty through improved public policy. Panelists will also propose concrete suggestions for how all of us can make MLK’s full dream a reality.
