Donald Trump and his MAGA Extremist enablers have started the year off with deadly and illegal actions meant to distract Americans from revelations about Trump’s closeness to sex trafficking pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, damning testimony from DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith to Trump’s guilt for fomenting the January 6th insurrection and illegally handling our nation’s top secrets, and Trump-Republican’s disastrous domestic policies causing soaring prices on everything from our healthcare to food.

All of this scary news makes our work that much more important to organize young people to vote and elect strong Democrats in 2026 to hold Donald Trump accountable and reverse the damage Republican politicians are doing to Americans and the world. That’s why I hope you can join me and hundreds of Young Democrats from every corner of California to organize our resistance at our 2026 Endorsing Convention in San Francisco, February 20 - 22 alongside the California Democratic Party Convention.

2026 CHAPTER CHARTERING - DUE FEBRUARY 9, 2026
All Young Democrats chapters and caucuses in California must be properly chartered with the California Young Democrats to be eligible to vote in CYD elections and meetings. All CYD chapters are required to recharter for 2026. CYD has extended the deadline for 2026 Chartering to February 9, 2026.
