Hi, Friends, I’ll be upfront: I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my presidential campaign. But first, let me explain:
Because of arbitrary rules cooked up in a backroom at the DNC, I will not be on stage during the September debate.
The DNC is stifling debate at a time when we need it most. These rules have created exactly the wrong outcomes and they will not help us beat Donald Trump.
Our fight is far from over.
I won’t be stopped by the DNC's unprecedented and counterproductive process that rewards celebrities, billionaires who can buy their way in, and perma-candidates who have been running for decades.
I am staying focused on what matters most: talking to voters and beating Trump.
This campaign has never been about being center stage.
It’s about building the kind of country that our children deserve. Not one that separates families, or underfunds schools, or refuses to protect our planet.
As a senator from a purple state, I’ve never known an easy election.
I’ve spent my time in office listening to the diverse voices of my constituents and working toward ambitious and durable solutions to our greatest challenges.
If we’re going to beat Trump — that’s the kind of leadership we need in 2020.
There’s too much at stake to back down now.
If you’re with me, will you donate any amount to help me get to the next debate in October?
Send the DNC a message that the voters decide our nominee — not some operatives in a backroom. |
