The news out of Minneapolis yesterday is dreadful, although it’s not surprising. With billions upon billions of dollars being spent on a poorly-trained squad of masked goons, this was absolutely bound to happen.
There’s a non-zero chance that this was the plan all along. Trump’s paramilitary force is terrorizing American cities. They are killing us. Full stop.
And you have to wonder, when those Americans who have joined the ranks of ICE look around and see military personnel (themselves) marching through the streets of their own country, do they think this is an improvement? Do they think they are solving a problem, and do they believe that the harm caused by this “solution” is worth the result?
A woman is dead. The man who killed her is still at large and will likely remain so. I hope I’m wrong. And I hope I’m wrong about this: she will not be the last.
We need new leadership. Everywhere. As soon as possible.
Enter our good friend David Pepper. Much to our surprise, he just announced a run for Lt. Governor of Ohio on the ticket with Amy Acton. It’s a good ticket.
He and Lisa talk about Minneapolis and the future of our country, including the new hope for Ohio.
