I'm sorry if that's too blunt, but the stakes are too high for me to beat around the bush. 

My Republican opponent, Jon Husted, is backed by millions in dark money, and corporate special interests are openly talking about how they're going to spend big to defeat us. That's because control of the Senate could be decided by our race, and they know we have the grassroots momentum to win.

But this will be one of the most expensive races in the country, and I can only stay competitive with you by my side, friend.

So I'm asking: Will you give $5 now and make sure we have the resources to win in Ohio and flip the Senate?
