Hello John,
The President's immigration enforcement policy has been nothing more than a thinly veiled excuse for sanctioned state violence against innocent Americans. The tragedy in Minnesota made abundantly clear that when the government deploys armed, unidentified agents into neighborhoods and treats communities like threat zones, violence is not an accident, it's the design.
State sanctioned violence is gun violence, made deadlier by institutional power, secrecy, and impunity. Americans from every walk of life must take a stance and say enough is enough. We must demand full accountability, an independent investigation, and an end to militarized operations in our neighborhoods that are only exasperating preventable violence. We urge an end to the lawlessness, for renewed law enforcement accountability, and to reimagine our nation's immigration policy in a way that respects life, liberty, and the rule of law.
Lastly, we must not forget the murder of Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother, who was shot and killed in her vehicle by an ICE officer in Minneapolis. Our hearts are with her family and the Minneapolis community. We call on leaders at every level to reject this brutality, speak out, and act to stop armed state violence before more families are shattered. In community,
