I am running to restore your trust in our government. 

This week, Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder was arrested and raided by the FBI for an alleged $61 million illegal pay-to-play scheme, by far setting an Ohio record for the largest scandal in Ohio’s history.

My opponent is a member of his leadership team.

This is the second Republican Speaker of the House to be raided by the FBI in 3 years. The Republican supermajority in the House, that has existed for the last decade, has led us here.

Our government needs checks and balances.

This has to end. We have more important things to be dealing with.
