Not only will Michigan have an open U.S. Senate seat this year, but some of the country’s most competitive U.S. House seats are in Michigan.
We also need to work hard to make sure we can keep Democrats in charge of our state with open Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General seats and both chambers of the state legislature.
What we do now will set us up for the crucial Midterm elections in November and determine the strength of our democracy and our ability to fight for what matters.
