They serve seniors, run the local nursing home and keep their ER open around the clock. According to the hospital, 80% of their patients rely on Medicaid and Medicare. But now that the GOP's "Big, Beautiful Bill" has become law, Sedgwick will lose 25% of its Medicaid reimbursement – and all of their services might not survive it. Lauren Boebert voted for this. She voted to gut the care her constituents depend on. I know firsthand how critical accessible health care is for Coloradan families.
