We need an Attorney General who works for all of us.
This last week has shown us we don't have one.
The Missouri Attorney General is one of the most important offices in our government. The Attorney General is responsible for a lot, including protecting Missourians, prosecuting scammers, upholding our civil rights, and serving as an important check on both our state and federal governments.
One of our supporters recommended we start a series of educational posts about our Attorney General's Office, so we did! It's called the Missouri Monday Minute, and you can see the collection on our website.
Our Attorney General is supposed to represent us. When they don't work for us, we have a lot of problems.
At the end of last week, our Attorney General asked the United States Supreme Court to authorize discrimination against LGBTQ+ Americans.
On Friday, when the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and I discovered that a dark money organization was illegally soliciting donations, I immediately asked the Attorney General to act. He has done nothing.
This weekend, as even more children were shot and killed in our state, neither our Attorney General nor his representatives were anywhere to be found.
Our Attorney General is not here for us.
We can change that.
We are running the biggest grassroots campaign in Missouri. We can take back our state, but we need you and everyone you know in this fight too.
This is a crucial time for America, and we need people in our government we can trust.
Help us get this done. Go to EladGross.org/get-involved to see all the ways you can help. Send the link to your friends.
Let's take back Missouri and make our government work for us.
