hew! What a year 2025 was. If you’re anything like us here at ONE, you’re ready to turn the page to 2026. And honestly, who could blame you?

Last year was an especially tough one for foreign assistance. Hard-fought programs faced real challenges and progress was anything but guaranteed. That’s why we want to start by saying thank you. Your support, your advocacy, and your willingness to keep showing up truly mattered when it counted most. 👏👏👏

Before we fully rush into the new year, we wanted to share our 2026 in/out list and one simple request. Hint: there’s still important work to do this year.

Without further ado, our list…

In ✔️: Taking action (calling, emailing, and sharing on social media) to demand the investments needed to create economic opportunities and healthier lives in Africa.

Out ❌: Sitting on the sidelines.

Seems pretty simple, right? That’s because it is simple. We empower people everywhere to use their voices to build a more just world because none of us are equal until all of us are equal.

Throughout 2026, we’ll continue to share impactful ways for you to take action and contact your elected officials in support of foreign assistance and programs that help end AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. We’ll also let you know about opportunities to get more involved locally and level up your advocacy.
