As the holiday recess came to an end, House Republicans gathered for a retreat to map out our legislative priorities heading into 2026. President Trump addressed the conference and delivered a clear warning about what will happen if Democrats retake the House in the 2026 midterm elections.

“You have to win the midterms,” the President told us. “If we don’t, they’ll find a reason to impeach me. I’ll get impeached.”

The President is absolutely right. Democrats have no real policy agenda for our country—something they proved during their four years in power under the Biden administration. Instead, they are driven by their obsession with President Trump and use that animosity to energize voters suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

If Hakeem Jeffries were to become Speaker, the House would once again be consumed with targeting President Trump—just as Democrats did the last time they held power, when they impeached him twice.
