We must speak up to stop offshore drilling. The Trump administration has released a dangerous draft plan for oil and gas drilling off our coasts over the next five years. The proposal would auction off essential waters, allowing oil and gas leasing off the coasts of Alaska, southern and central California, and in the Gulf of Mexico. Further exploitation of our communities, coasts, and precious waters by Big Oil and Gas would put us all in danger — we must act. |

From public health harms caused by toxic pollution and extreme weather, to threats to industries that coastal economies rely on, which generate billions in revenue and support millions of jobs, this plan would come at the grave expense of people’s health, safety, and livelihoods. That’s too high a cost! |
