John, we have breaking news on The Montana Plan from the Supreme Court of Montana.

Unfortunately, our ballot initiative language has been rejected. However, this isn’t stopping us — we are already in the process of refiling our language as you read this email.
We appreciate and respect the work of the court. We’re grateful for the guidance and understand what the court is saying, and we’re excited to move forward with our movement to end undue corporate influence in our elections.
Despite a short delay in progress, we’ve still accomplished a lot! Thanks to support from people like you, we have an ever-growing infrastructure of dedicated volunteers to knock doors and gather signatures.
Supporters across the country are ready to put elections back in the hands of we, the people, and they’re more energized and mobilized than they were just one year ago.
We haven’t been defeated. We’re motivated. We are going to continue recruiting volunteers and hosting events, and we’re grateful that you’re with us on this journey.
Keep an eye on your inbox, because we’ll continue to keep you in the loop for every key update.
Thank you, once again, for being part of the team that will defeat Citizens United!
