Just days left to help stop health care cost from skyrocketing

Friend,

Theresa here. I work to stop policies that push people deeper into poverty — I’m reaching out again because we have another opportunity to take advantage of new bipartisan momentum to pressure Congress to act.

This week, Congress is holding a critical vote. Demand your members of Congress vote to extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium tax credits and stop families’ health care costs from skyrocketing in 2026. Take action right now >> ([link removed])

For many families, the warning signs are already here. People across the country are starting to see health care costs rise — and if Congress fails to act, people may be forced to drop coverage altogether when faced with doubling or tripling health care costs.

For many in the Deep South, affordable health care means survival.

Now, their lives and futures hang in the balance. Approximately 22 million Americans may see their health premiums double or even triple this year.

Friend, this isn't about politics — it’s about survival. Raise your voice and demand your members of Congress vote to save lives by keeping health care affordable. ([link removed])

This health care crisis is a consequence of many members of Congress choosing to prioritize huge tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy over the health and lives of the constituents they pledged to protect by passing the brutal “Big Beautiful Bill.”

This bill gave massive tax breaks to the wealthy while slashing SNAP and Medicaid — it also failed to extend the critical Affordable Care Act premium tax credits that make health care affordable for millions.

That’s why it’s so important that you demand Congress stop the health care crisis by voting to extend ACA subsidies now. ([link removed])
