Donald Trump’s cuts to public broadcasting have forced the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to formally dissolve after nearly 60 years of operation.

This hurts NPR, PBS and other local public radio and television stations across the country that bring accessible, factual, and reliable information to millions of Americans.

Analysts’ estimates report that 15% of local stations are at risk of closing in three years because of the cuts.
