Jordan Wood

John, I want to be transparent:

I’m not a politician. I had no intention of running for Congress.

But when I heard Paul LePage was running in my home district — after falsely claiming “Black people come up the highway and kill Mainers” and even saying that “half the time, they impregnate a young white girl before they leave” — I realized getting off the sidelines was no longer a choice, but a necessity.

Hear me when I say this, John: I refuse to let Paul LePage flip this pivotal seat to Republicans and hand them control of the House for two more years. But I can’t let him outraise me before my midnight deadline.

Unlike my opponent, I don’t have a personal rolodex brimming with corporate donors to flood my campaign with unlimited resources.

I wish I didn’t have to ask, but the reality is this: to level the playing field against LePage’s massive piles of special interest money, I’m relying on grassroots supporters like you, John.

I can’t thank you enough for all the support you’ve given me so far, John. I wouldn’t ask again if it wasn’t critical. Will you chip in $10 before midnight to help me compete with LePage’s billionaire donors and hand him the humiliating defeat he so desperately deserves? I need 246 gifts before midnight to close my budget gap, fully fund this campaign, and keep this seat for Democrats »

Jordan is a Democrat running for the U.S. House – in the race that will decide control of the entire House.

Jordan was born and raised in Lewiston, Maine. His dad was a pastor, and his mom was a teacher. Now, Jordan and his husband are raising their baby girl in Maine.

Family

Jordan spent his career taking on the powerful elite: working to get corporate money out of politics, holding CEOs accountable, and defeating election deniers. Now, he’s running for the House to take back our government from Donald Trump, Mike Johnson, and House Republicans.

Jordan refuses to take money from corporate PACs or lobbyists. Unlike Republican politicians, he won’t be bought and paid for.

Jordan needs your help to win — and be the deciding victory that swings House Senate control back to Democrats to provide a much-needed check on Donald Trump.

Will you rush in $15 to elect Jordan and win back the House for Democrats?
