Virtual Green Breakfast with Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District: Data Centers in Northern Virginia

01/07/26

Northern Virginia SWDC's next virtual Green Breakfast on Saturday, January 10 at 9:00 AM will focus on the environmental impacts of data center construction:

Northern Virginia already has the largest concentration of data centers anywhere in the world, with more in the pipeline. What demands do data centers place on local land, energy, and water resources? What does this mean for our climate goals? Join Julie Bolthouse, Director of Land Use at the Piedmont Environmental Council, to learn more about the local impacts of this booming industry at our January virtual Green Breakfast.

Please use this link to learn more and join the event on Saturday morning! No registration is required.
