We have incredible news to celebrate! Congratulations to Mayor Erica Deuso of Downingtown, Pennsylvania , on officially being sworn into office!
Mayor Deuso made history in the 2025 election cycle as the first out transgender mayor in Pennsylvania history, and she’s currently the only transgender mayor serving anywhere in the country. This is a moment worth celebrating loudly.
And she’s not alone. Across the country, LGBTQ+ leaders are being sworn into office—breaking barriers, defying the odds, and stepping into leadership at a moment when visibility and courage matter more than ever.
