Purpose: The State Loan and Investment Board is soliciting grant proposals for pedestrian transportation infrastructure projects related to special events conducted on the grounds of any indoor or outdoor rodeo.
Authority: 2023 Wyo. Sess. Laws 455
Funding Available: $4 million
Submission Deadline: February 9, 2026
Project Requirements:
- The project must create or enhance pedestrian transportation infrastructure to increase safety, and avoid pedestrian and vehicle interactions, collisions, and conflicts;
- Related to special events conducted on the grounds of any indoor or outdoor rodeo;
- The rodeo grounds must have a total seating capacity of not less than 7,500; and
- The applicant must provide at least a 1:1 match for the funds applied for, including in-kind contributions.
Project Proposals Must Include:
- Applicant's information;
- Full description and justification for the project;
- Evidence that the project requirements identified above are met;
- Complete financial plan for the project (including source, amount of match, and if funding is secured or pending); and
- A commitment letter for any match funding that is secured.
A complete proposal must be submitted to [email protected] by 5 pm MST on February 9, 2026.
