December Month in Review and 2025 highlights

In the month of December, BJS released content including four new
reports, updates to the Federal Criminal Case Processing Statistics
and Justice Expenditure and Employment data tools, and the new
Survey of Prison Inmates Questionnaire Crosswalk Tool.

In 2025, we made significant strides in fulfilling our mission by
publishing 32 reports (28 BJS and 4 BJS-funded), releasing 49
datasets, and updating six interactive tools along with two Application
Programming Interfaces (APIs). Thanks to your engagement, our
website registered more than 3.4 million page views. We wish you a
safe and happy 2026 and look forward to your continued support and
engagement!
