Latino communities are facing significant challenges — but we’ve proved that we’re stronger when we stand together. In November, we saw what is possible when our communities show up at the ballot box:
➣ Latino voters helped Abigail Spanberger become the first woman elected governor of Virginia. In one heavily Latino county, support for Democrats increased by a drastic 16 percentage points compared to 2024.
➣ The surge in Latino support was even bigger in New Jersey, where Democrat Mikie Sherrill’s Latino support surpassed 2020 levels.
➣ Notably, Latino men swung back in double digits in New Jersey and supported Mikie Sherrill for governor by a margin of 23 percentage points.
