Good morning,
The Kansas Employment First Oversight Commission was created by the same state law that requires competitive and integrated employment to be the first option when serving Kansans with disabilities (KSA 44-1136 to 44-1138, also called the Employment First Initiative Act).
Under this law, the focus of the Commission is to make recommendations to increase the number of Kansans with disabilities in competitive and integrated employment.  Attached to this email is the Commission’s annual report, making those recommendations to the Kansas Legislature, Governor, and state agencies.  For more information or any questions about this report, please contact the Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns which provides administrative support to the Commission. This report is also available for download from the Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns website at the following link:  Employment First | KS Commission on Disability Concerns
On behalf of the Commission, we would like to thank you for all that you do to help turn the promise of Employment First into a reality for Kansans with disabilities
