Hours later, Trump’s mob sacked the Capitol, brutalized cops, hunted Pence and Pelosi, and tried to foil the peaceful transfer of power.
Returned to the presidency, Trump pardoned the thugs who did that violence for him and launched a dystopian campaign of official vengeance and intimidation unprecedented in our history.

Five years ago, it all came down to Georgia.
In 301 days, when the polls close at 7 p.m., Georgia will be the political center of the universe again.
That’s because I’m the only Democratic Senator defending a seat in a state Trump won, and this will be the biggest Senate race of the year.

If we don’t restore checks and balances, if we don’t get out the vote, if we don’t defend voting rights over the next eleven months, we could lose our Republic.
