In case you missed it, former CA-53 candidate for Congress, Josie Caballero, wrote an op-ed in the Times of San Diego this week announcing that she is endorsing Sara in the race to succeed Congresswoman Susan Davis.

This is a really big deal.

Josie and Sara shared the stage at dozens of events during the primary. She has firsthand experience of the type of candidate Sara has been and the type of Congressmember she’ll be. Most importantly, Josie knows that Sara is a true progressive champion, beholden only to the people of our district, not special interests.

As we get closer to Election Day, it is so important that every voter hears this message. Sara will always stay true to her values, because, unlike her opponent, Sara isn’t relying on special interests to fund her campaign -- and Sara certainly isn’t letting outside money impact her policy positions.
