One of the most important roles I have in Congress is standing up for our farmers and rural communities across Central Virginia. I’m proud to serve on the Agriculture Committee and to bring the needs to Virginia’s farmers to Congress.
Last week, I joined Agri-Pulse to talk about a host of issues, including the role farmers and producers can and should play in combating climate change and affecting public policy.
Farmers and producers are the original conservationists. If your soil isn’t healthy, if your water isn’t healthy, there’s an impact on what you’re producing.
Addressing climate change while bringing the voice of farmers to the table is paramount.
