Listen — Americans just gave President Donald Trump his worst approval, or better put: best disapproval , rating ever for his handling of the economy.

Americans are suffering. They’re struggling to pay rent, afford their health care, and put food on the table. And they know it’s because of Donald Trump and the GOP’s horrendous economic policies.

We’re less than a week into 2026 and over half of Americans (57%) are pessimistic that the year ahead is going to be even worse than the last.

It’s gotten so bad, that even some of Donald Trump’s most loyal Republicans have begun to turn on him. He’s losing supporters in Congress and he’s losing the support of the people who voted for him.

And while all of this is happening, Trump continues to deny that his economic policies have created this mess, calling it a Democratic “con job.”

That’s a little hard to believe when both the House and the Senate are controlled by his lackeys…
