The Chinese consulate in Houston was not a place of diplomacy, but instead an epicenter of espionage for the Chinese Government to spy on America and its people. Now the building must close & the spies have 72 hours to leave or face arrest.

I applaud President Trump for taking the necessary steps to close the consulate and protect Americans from foreign threats.

The consulate was just a front for commercial espionage, defense espionage, and attempts from the Chinese Communist Party to try and influence American politics.

President Trump took the strong steps necessary to combat this blatant attempt by a foreign government to spy on Americans and acquire information to harm our country. If we don’t stand up and point out our enemies, they’ll be able to walk freely among us while dismantling our country from within.
