LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026

As Congress prepares to begin the first full legislative week of the second session of the 119th Congress, we do so at a historic moment. In 2026, the United States will mark its 250th anniversary, a milestone that reminds us of our responsibility to protect the freedoms and institutions entrusted to us.

In my capacity as your elected voice in Congress, I will remain focused on strengthening national security, advancing responsible spending, supporting agricultural producers and rural communities, and reining in bureaucratic overreach that drives up costs for families and small businesses.

STRENGTHENING RURAL HEALTH CARE IN FLORIDA

Rural families deserve the same access to quality health care as those living in our cities and urban communities. That’s why I supported the One Big Beautiful Bill, which created the Rural Health Transformation Program to strengthen rural health care nationwide.

Through this program, Florida will receive an additional $209 million to strengthen rural hospitals, expand access to care closer to home and support the health care workers serving our communities. For families across FL-18, this will have a direct and positive impact. Click here to learn more.
