John,

Five years ago, on January 6, Nancy Pelosi gave me a gavel to help lead Congress on the very day that Donald Trump sent a mob to the Capitol.

I’ll never forget the sounds and images of that day as the mob ravaged the Capitol.

To defend our democracy, I was tapped to help lead the impeachment trial of Donald Trump after January 6. We found him guilty then, and he’s guilty now.

But now, five years later, Donald Trump is still just as dangerous as ever. California needs a Governor who will stand up to him.

That’s why I am proud to announce that I have earned the personal endorsements of police officers who were on the front lines on January 6 including Harry Dunn, Aquilino Gonell, Michael Fanon, and Daniel Hodges. They are the real heroes, and I am incredibly thankful for their support.

P.S. I also wrote an op-ed that’s on the front page MS NOW if you’d like to read it. [[link removed]]

Democrat Eric Swalwell is running for Governor to make California affordable. He is a husband, a father of three, and one of the most outspoken members of Congress.

Eric's counting on your support to win this race! Please donate today to help us build a campaign that can go the distance. [[link removed]]
