Statement from Chairwoman Keesling Wishing Congressman Baird a Swift Recovery

Indianapolis, IN – Indiana Republican Party Chairwoman Lana Keesling released the following statement following Congressman Jim Baird's hospitalization:

"I have been relieved to hear that Congressman Jim Baird and his wife are expected to make a full recovery after having been the victims of a hit and run last night.

A true public servant, Congressman Baird’s first public statement emphasized that his office remains open to assist Hoosiers and that he looks forward to getting back to serving his constituents.

Congressman Baird and Mrs. Baird will remain in our prayers."
