Right now, DxE activists are tailing a slaughter truck carrying pigs from the largest pig farm in the country, Smithfield’s Circle Four, over 500 miles to the company’s LA slaughterhouse. We’re live following the caravan, as their blood-covered car warns the public: “CAUTION: TORTURED ANIMALS AHEAD.” 

The caravan follows last week’s release of “Unseen,” a shocking mini-documentary that exposed Smithfield’s disease-ridden supply chain from Utah to California. Now, we’re keeping the pressure on this destructive company -- and industry -- that endangers animals, workers, and global public health.

The police will likely intervene at some point today, shielding this powerful industry from the exposure which threatens its very existence.

But we’ll never back down. Any time the truck stops, activists will attempt to give water to the pigs, and to empathetically dialogue with the driver -- though they may well be stopped or even arrested.
