Hi John,

Our Wellness Support Groups are back for 2026, and sign-ups are now open! Read on to learn more and visit our website ([link removed]) for more information. The Wellness Support Groups are a closed, small online space led by trained mental health providers that meet for six weeks, all free to the community.

If you are undocumented, 18 years or older, and a student at any post-high school educational institution (undergraduate at a 2-year/4-year college, trade/technical school, or vocational program) in California, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, New York, or Florida, these groups might be for you!

Additionally, if you are a student in Scholarship A–Z, Undocumented Student Resource Center at Northern Illinois University, or Dream Center at Reedley Community College, you may get priority registration for any of the groups. Thank you to our partners who helped get the word out!

Starting January 20, the following groups will meet:
* Building Sustainable Habits (Wednesdays at 4 p.m. PT)
* Creative Expression for Healing (Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. PT or Fridays at 12:30 p.m. PT)
* Sorry for not texting back, I was Coping with Uncertainty (Tuesdays at 2 p.m. PT)
* UndocuLGBTQ+ Wellness Support Group (Thursdays at 6 p.m. PT)

The groups are designed to help undocumented individuals feel safe, grounded, and connected with others facing similar experiences through sharing, finding solidarity, and growing together. Register now. ([link removed])

Note: Though participation can be therapeutic, the groups are not a form of therapy.

** Wellness Support Groups
------------------------------------------------------------

January-March 2026

Building Sustainable Habits (Wednesdays at 4 p.m. PT)

This group focuses on creating routines and practices that support your long-term well-being, while honoring the realities you face. We will reflect on how systemic pressures and social inequities affect our daily choices, and work to build sustainable practices that are realistic, empowering, and culturally affirming.

Creative Expression for Healing (Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. PT or Fridays at 12:30 p.m. PT)

This group is designed to provide undocumented students with a safe and supportive space to explore their creativity. No formal training or expensive supplies are required. Whether you are new to art or have been creating for years, this group welcomes you to join and express yourself.

Sorry for not texting back, I was Coping with Uncertainty (Tuesdays at 2 p.m. PT)

This group is a supportive space for students navigating the sometimes chaotic and messy moments in higher education. Inspired by the playful reminder of being “in goblin mode,” this is a space to step back from perfectionism and show up as your authentic self.

UndocuLGBTQ+ Wellness Support Group (Thursdays at 6 p.m. PT)

However you explore and express your LGBTQIA+ identity, this support group is a safe space for you to show up as your authentic self and share personal experiences, discuss relevant issues, and build community in a safe and non-judgmental environment with other undocumented LGBTQIA+ individuals.
