Make your voice heard!

Hi John,

Great news! Thanks to your advocacy, support for the Water Pollution Notification Act continues to grow!

We ended 2025 with a public hearing in the Senate, and we’re starting 2026 with a public hearing in the Assembly: [[link removed]]
* When: Thursday, Jan. 8 at 10 a.m.
* Where: State Capitol, Room 400 Northeast

Widespread support for this bill is clear. In addition to the more than 60 stakeholders who signed our letter last year
[[link removed]] , key public health and local organizations have registered in favor, including:
* Wisconsin Public Health Association
* Wisconsin Association of Local Health Departments and Boards
* Wisconsin Counties Association

This bill is a common-sense step to ensure every Wisconsinite has the right to know what’s in their drinking water. Some corporate polluters may push back, so legislators need to hear from impacted people first .

Here’s how you can help:

* Send a message to your legislators today [[link removed]] to show your support.
* Interested in testifying at the Assembly hearing on Jan. 8? Email Government Affairs manager Peter Burress at [email protected].

Thanks for being a conservation voter and standing up for clean water in Wisconsin,

Peter Burress
