US, UK Condemn Russian Weapons Test

Military space officials in the U.S. and U.K. are condemning Russia for what they believe to be an anti-satellite weapon test on orbit July 15. The Russian satellite Cosmos 2543 sidled up next to a National Reconnaissance Office spy satellite, then moved away and released a projectile that looks like a weapon elsewhere in low Earth orbit.  Read more ►
