I grew up in Mansfield, a blue-collar city, in a community of ironworkers, carpenters, autoworkers, and electricians. I spent summers working on my family’s farm, and I loved going to baseball games with my dad (go Guardians!). I’m proud of where I come from.

Over the years, it’s been heartbreaking to watch as manufacturing jobs have been shipped overseas because of bad trade deals, and prices have soared while wages have failed to keep up. Workers have been left behind, while corporate greed has been allowed to run wild.
That’s why I’ve spent my life fighting for the Dignity of Work: the idea that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are or what kind of work you do. I’m as committed as ever to continuing this critical fight in the Senate, but right now, I need your help.
With polls showing this race neck and neck, corporate special interest allies are set to spend millions to defeat me – and attack ads have already begun. I simply cannot fight back and win without grassroots donations from people like you.
So please, friend, I’m personally asking: Will you chip in $5 or whatever you can spare today to help me win in Ohio, take back the Senate, and deliver progress for working people across the country?
