We won’t be the first to say that 2025 was a wild ride, often one we did not want to be on. Still, the staff at ASAN are greeting the new year with a mix of hope and determination. We have heard our community and continue to fight for a world that is more just, more equitable, more accessible. Thank you for being part of this fight with us. By standing together, we can reach our mission.

This new year also wraps up our end of the year fundraiser. With your help, we brought in $127,676! Funds like these allow us flexibility to address threats to our community in real time. They allow us to create resources for advocates as issues develop. We wouldn’t be able to do this work without the support of individual donors. As non-profit funding continues to grow scarcer, direct donations provide a strong foundation for us to continue our work. Even with the new year starting, there is still time to donate directly [[link removed]] or become a member [[link removed]] . Membership starts at as little as $3 and each level comes with unique perks.

As 2025 was wrapping up, we asked staff for a favor: to doodle something that summed up how they felt about the year we have just finished fighting through. It gave us time to reflect, joke, and grieve over all we have faced this year. With doodles in hand, one of our staff combined them into the design below, which will be available in our shop [[link removed]] for the next year! Proceeds of this shirt go directly into our general funds, providing another opportunity to give while getting something for you!

With 2026 already underway, we are counting down to November, which marks ASAN’s 20th anniversary. Throughout this year, we will reflect on our past and plan for the future we know we can achieve together. We’ll see you there!
