Hi John,   

Last fall, we let you know that extremist politicians in the Capitol had introduced two measures that would further roll back Wisconsin’s gun violence prevention laws. Now, they’ve scheduled hearings to move them forward. We need you to stand against them.

One bill would entirely remove the requirement for a permit from Wisconsin’s concealed carry system, meaning almost anyone could carry a gun anywhere at any time. The other proposes changing Wisconsin’s Constitution. They are seeking to remove the clarification that people should have a lawful purpose to own guns. 

This is alarming. Our own lawmakers are claiming that nothing is more important than arming ourselves with guns. Not the safety of Wisconsinites, not our children’s lives. Nothing. It’s disgusting.

We can stop these reckless changes. But we need your help to do so. Contact your representative now and urge them to do everything they can to prevent these changes from advancing. 

What happens next depends on us – on you. Wisconsinites are asking for safety, stability, and solutions, not more hidden guns in public places. This vote is coming soon, and your representative needs to hear from you – now. Your voice can make a difference.
