My opponent Lauren Boebert gave reconnaissance tours to the people who would storm the Capitol, helping them to identify weak points in the building's security. On the day of, she tweeted out the location of the U.S. Speaker to the bloodthirsty mob.     And what did she do just last year? "I’ll be the first member of Congress to offer them a guided tour in the Capitol tonight,” said Lauren Boebert of pardoned Jan 6 offenders. “If there’s another regret, I’m sure it’s only on the Democrats who are regretting that they didn’t just shut up because now they’re finding out." We are talking about people who brought zip ties and built gallows and hunted the Congresswoman's colleagues, and those who injured 150 law enforcement officers. Capitol Hill Police Officer Brian Sicknick was an Air Force Veteran. He was pepper sprayed, suffocated, suffering multiple strokes and died a day later. Is it radical to suggest those responsible should not be pardoned and treated as heroes? And now, unfortunately, unless we can prevent it, the next January 6th might be weeks away and Boebert is once again leading the charge… In 2020 Lauren Boebert worked with Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters to breach the election computers and then illegally publish stolen voter machine data. Peters was ultimately convicted for these crimes. Despite President Trump’s pardon and push to release Peters, CO’s governor is refusing to release her, causing MAGA to threaten violence. On January 31, 2026, MAGA extremists led by Jake Lang, a white nationalist and convicted January 6th rioter, are threatening to violently break Peters out of the Colorado jail where she is being held. Boebert’s fingerprints are on every aspect of this saga and unfortunately our opportunities to take away the pulpit she uses to call for violence may soon run out… Boebert is only in Congress because of a 546 vote margin. In 2024, as the Democratic nominee facing her we had the best performance a Democrat has ever had in this district, overperforming Kamala Harris by 6 pts while Boebert underperformed Trump in every single county. We accomplished this because of our economic populist platform and the work I’ve done as a science & tech civil servant and for America’s labor movement fighting for working Colorado families.
