Hey, David Cross here – will you join me in supporting the Democratic Party of Wisconsin? It’s one of the most important organizations in America.
You might know me from my stand-up comedy or shows like Arrested Development or The Price is Right.
What some people don’t know about me, however, is that I grew up poor in Georgia, one of three kids whose dad left them and their mom. I know how difficult it can be for a single mother of three, in America, with no financial support. I saw it with my own eyes, watching my mom struggle. And at the same time facing anti-Semitism. It was tough. And I think about the sacrifices my mother had to make on a daily basis.
These experiences have stayed with me to this day; they inform my values and my politics.
I believe that, as a country, we must continue to strive toward our stated foundational American values of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for ALL.
