Fellow American,
I have been deeply saddened to watch what has been happening in Portland, Oregon, the last few days. The whole city seems to be on fire, as massive crowds gather to protest the police and other federal officers’ presence.
Make no mistake. These are not protesters. They are rioters.
Peaceful protesters don’t vandalize private and public property, set buildings on fire, or shoot fireworks and other incendiaries at law enforcement officers.
We have the constitutional right to peacefully assemble and express ourselves and share our opinions. We do not, however, have the right to destroy property, harm our fellow citizens, and resort to senseless acts of violence and vandalism.
We need a restoration of law and order in Portland, and we need it fast.
Violence and destruction of property take away from any legitimate messages of the protests.
We need to put an end to it and restore law in order in America.
Sincerely,
P.S. If you agree that these violent riots go against our American right to peacefully assemble, will you chip in what you can to elect leaders that will support restoring law and order? CLICK HERE to donate now.
