Friend, Hey there! You probably haven't heard of me before, but this email is extremely important to Republicans' efforts to hold our House Majority in November. I hope you'll take just two minutes to read this through. WHO AM I?  My name is Robert Smullen. I'm a lifelong Upstate New Yorker, a current New York State Assemblyman, and a 24-year United States Marine Corps veteran. I didn't grow up planning to run for Congress. I grew up believing in service, responsibility, and putting your country and community before yourself. That belief was reinforced during my 24 years in the Marine Corps, where Americans from every background worked together toward a common mission: serving the United States of America. After my military service, I continued serving my community in the New York State Assembly. Now, I'm running for Congress in New York's 21st District. I'm also proud to say I'm the only Trump-appointed conservative in this race. I served on President Trump's Commission on White House Fellows during his first administration, and I strongly support his America First agenda. WHY AM I RUNNING FOR CONGRESS?  I'm running because Upstate New York has been forgotten by Washington. Families are struggling with high grocery bills. Gas prices are still too high. Small businesses are fighting to survive. And too many of our kids are forced to leave home just to find opportunity. I'm running to stand with President Trump to restore law and order and stop the reckless spending in Washington that's driving inflation and making life harder for working families. I believe in backing the blue, supporting our veterans, empowering parents, and making sure every child has the chance to succeed. That's what America First means to me — and that's exactly how I'll fight in Congress. WHY DOES THIS RACE MATTER?  This is an open seat, and Democrats know it. They're already recruiting candidates and raising millions of dollars to flip NY-21. If they succeed, it puts the Republican House Majority at risk and gives the Left another vote to block President Trump's agenda. Republicans cannot afford to lose seats like this. Every district matters. Every race matters. WHY DO I NEED YOUR HELP?  I'll be honest with you, winning a race like this takes resources. Democrats and their outside allies will spend whatever it takes to win. I don't have a Washington machine behind me. What I have is grassroots conservatives who care deeply about this country. Every single donation helps us reach voters, share our message, and fight back against the Left. Even a small contribution, $1 or $5 makes a real difference. I know this was a lot to read, so I'll keep this simple. If you believe in President Trump's America First agenda, if you believe Upstate New York deserves strong leadership, and if you believe this House Majority is worth defending, I humbly ask for your support today.
