I hope you enjoyed quality time with your loved ones during the holiday season. I’m feeling particularly grateful as we begin the new year.
With your help in December, we met our end-of-year fundraising goal -- better equipping us for the challenges of the midterm election year. I can’t thank you enough for your continued support.
I want you to know that in 2026, I’m not giving up defending our communities from Donald Trump. I’ve stood up to him before, and I’m not stopping now.
I fought when he tried to gut Social Security. I fought when he cut healthcare, Medicaid, and SNAP while giving his billionaire donors tax breaks. And with the continued corruption and attacks on our democracy, the fight continues.
The stakes truly couldn’t be higher, and Election Day is closer than it appears -- primary day in Illinois is a little over two months away.
So as we look forward, I hope you’ll continue to have my back. I’ll always fight for Central and Southern Illinois, no matter the attacks that come my way.
