Hours later, 147 Republicans voted to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Republican extremists like Scott Perry think we should just forget about the violence on that fateful day — but Americans will never forget.
Here in PA-10, we know exactly what Scott Perry was doing. He voted to throw out our votes and then conspired with key members of Trump's team to try to prevent President Biden from taking office. As a former Trump staffer put it, Perry was "central to the planning of Jan. 6." The FBI seized Perry's phone as part of its investigation.
Scott Perry's actions following the 2020 election helped inspire me to run, John. We all watched as he continued to slam a wrecking ball into our democratic institutions and betray America.
