Sunday 1/11 at 11:30 AM, join Seattle DSA's January edition of Socialist (Day) School where we'll be hosting Zane Gustafson, local author of Polemic for Democracy. We'll be discussing his book's framework of 9 reforms that could shatter the two-party system and bring forth a truly multi-party political system in the US. |

Also on Sunday 1/11 at 5:30 PM, Chapters of the Democratic Socialists of America across Washington State are coming together to support HB 2100, sponsored by State Representative and Seattle DSA member Shaun Scott. HB 2100 asks Washington’s largest corporations to contribute to the social safety net on the same dollars their employees already pay—by establishing the Well Washington Fund, HB2100 would support the services Washingtonians rely on, especially in times of federal austerity. The launch event will outline the policy, the stakes this session, and opportunities for organizations to engage. |
