As we kick off a new year, I wanted to reach out personally and say thank you for being part of this fight.

Last election, I was re-elected by my narrowest margin yet — less than 2.8% . That close result sent a clear message: this district is going to be one of the most competitive races in the country, and Republicans are already gearing up to try to flip it.

In fact, we’re already seeing it happen. Nearly $500,000 has been spent against me before the election cycle has even fully begun — a clear signal of just how hard they’re coming for this seat.

I’m proud of the work I’ve been doing for Nevada families — lowering costs, fighting to expand affordable housing, delivering resources for veterans, and standing up for workers and small businesses. I’ve always believed in solving problems and getting results, no matter the politics.

But it’s no secret what’s at stake right now.

With chaos and extremism driving the Republican agenda in Washington, a Democratic House majority remains our strongest line of defense . And the path forward is clear: we must protect and re-elect Democrats in the most competitive races — like ours — while flipping a number of key seats to take back the majority.

That’s why starting this year strong matters so much .
