Hi John,
Trump is sending his secret police to more Democratic cities to terrorize people.
These DHS agents in unmarked vans are already kidnapping protestors off the streets in Portland.
And while all this goes on, Democrats in Congress are debating MORE funding for DHS, as well as expanding warrantless surveillance powers for the Trump regime.
In fact, on July 15, my opponent Rep. Derek Kilmer voted in the Appropriations Committee to give DHS $50.72 billion in discretionary funding.
That’s $50 billion for the agency currently terrorizing the streets of Portland — and whose secret police will soon be in Democratic cities across the country.
Why on EARTH would Kilmer vote to give this agency more money at a time like this?
I don’t know, but in Congress I will NEVER vote to fund state-sponsored terrorism of Americans. I will fight back against abuses of civil liberty by the government. We only have 12 days left until voting ends. Can you rush a $3 now, so I can beat Kilmer and get a Trump-enabler out of Congress?
We need Democrats in office who will fight back against the Republicans and their dangerous overreach.
Unfortunately, Rep. Kilmer just votes for Trump’s priorities: funding DHS, funding ICE, funding Trump’s border wall, funding Trump’s war budget, extending the Patriot Act, and more.
Enough is enough.
