Message from the Chairman:
A new year calls us to renewed purpose and renewed resolve. Utah
did not become the best place in the nation to live by accident. Our
prosperity, freedom, and quality of life are the result of citizens
who believe in self-government, constitutional limits on power, and
the enduring values that have shaped our state from the
beginning. This is an election year, and Utah needs men and
women willing to stand up and lead. If you believe in Utah values that
support faith, family, and freedom—values clearly outlined in the Utah
Republican Party Platform—I encourage you to step forward and file for
office. Representative government works when good people are willing
to serve. We need you! Today, we face a defining moment for
Utah’s constitutional republic. Proposition 4 undermines
representative government by shifting authority away from the people
and toward unelected commissions and unaccountable judges. I ask
Utahns who cherish self-rule to stand with us by signing the
initiative petition being circulated right now. This effort is
essential to restoring constitutional balance and ensuring that Utah’s
future remains in the hands of its citizens. Utah is a
remarkable place because its people understand that life is a gift
from God, meant to be lived with purpose, courage, and gratitude. As
we begin this year, let us make the most of the days ahead—serving our
communities, defending our values, and leaving our state stronger for
the next generation. Together, we can ensure Utah remains a
place of opportunity, liberty, and hope — we must keep Utah… UTAH.
Happy New Year,

Signature Gathering: Save
Representative Government
THE PROBLEM
A Utah judge recently threw
out the Legislature’s constitutionally drawn congressional map and
replaced it with one created by a left leaning group—creating a
deep-blue district in solid-red Utah.
Utah’s Constitution is clear:
drawing districts is the Legislature’s responsibility. This ruling
undermines both the Constitution and the separation of powers,
allowing an unelected judge to take over redistricting.
“The Legislature shall divide
the state into congressional, legislative, and other districts
accordingly.” — Utah Constitution, Article IX, Section
1
THE
SOLUTION
A new citizen initiative aims to overturn Prop. 4 and
restore redistricting authority to the Legislature. To get it on the
November 2026 ballot, we need 170,000 signatures. Counties have
already begun signature-gathering events, and great places to collect
include precinct meetings, county events, and busy community
locations.
The time to act is now!
