North Carolina needs a leader who will put its people first, and will fight for progress and recovery - that's why I was proud to endorse Roy earlier this month.

Like Roy, I served as my state's Attorney General, and I know it's a job that takes compassion, grit, and tenacity.

Over the last four years, I've seen him take those values to the Governor's office in Raleigh, where he's fighting to raise teacher pay, expand Medicaid, and is leading the state through the coronavirus crisis.

Roy is in a tough fight for re-election, battling against dark-money groups like the Republican Governors Association who've pledged to spend whatever it takes to defeat him.
